The header kind of says it all, but I'll dive in a bit more.
After my graduation from SUNY Plattsburgh in '13, I wanted to seize my new freedom from school and pursue music. So, I moved to New York City. I started promoting myself and learning the ins-and-outs of being an independent musician. I booked nation wide tours, radio shows and interviews. All of these experiences helped me define my strengths as a content producer, project manager and social media strategist.
Over that time, I was faced with many new experiences. Professionally, I've been fortunate enough to work as a freelance social media manager in several industries. My work spans a wide array of services. I produce media with a 'get sh*t done' state of mind. Depending on client needs, I shoot and edited most content myself. Developing marketing calendars in alignment with marketing plans and in conjunction with current industry and digital trends.
Lately, I've been spending my free time writing new music and re-exploring some of my creative instincts. For me, new music means spending a lot of time at my home studio. I start by making instrumentals, then catching a melody and recording it before the thought is lost. From there: lyrics, arrangement, instrumentation, and mixing. I thrive on the d.i.y. mentality.
Anyways, I'm impressed you made it to this point in the bio...so here's a joke.
Two windmills are standing in a field and one asks "What kind of music do you like?" The other says, "I'm a big metal fan"...Congrats, you might be chuckling!
